About Our Staff
Dr. Maller
Dr. Maller was raised on Mount Desert Island and attended the University of Maine for his bachelors' degree and then Tufts University of Dental Medicine. Following his time spent in the US Army for his general practice residency, Dr. Maller studied at Boston City Hospital to become an Anesthesiologist.
On his time away from the office, Dr. Maller is an associate professor at Tufts University, teaching anesthesia to dental students. He was also a member of the state board of dental examiners, and belongs to many dental organizations.
Cindy
Cindy, at the front desk, has been at the office for over 20 years. She started as a Dental Assistant and Certified Anesthesia Assistant for 16 years; It was a natural progression for her to become Office Manager.
Samantha
Samantha is an Independent Practice Dental Hygenist, who graduated from the University of Bangor. She has been practicing hygiene for over 12 years! She loves patient education and Perio scaling!
Jessica
Jessica is an EFDA (expanded duty dental assistant). She comes from a family of dental professionals and we are happy to have her with us!
Barbara
Our hygienist Barbara graduated from Westbrook College. She has been practicing hygiene for 40 years!!
Samantha
Samantha has been with us for over 15 years. She is also an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant- EFDA. She is a native of MDI.
